The customer service was poor, no acknowledgement of order, no advice of delivery date
otherwise delivery was good and product is just as I expected.

Thanks for taking the time to do a review, all orders are acknowledged on receipt and a separate email sent to you the day before your delivery, sounds like a spam filter has removed them, glad your products are what you wanted.

JParr is excellent overall, however I have encountered a blip on this order. The ordering process showed items being in stock but they were not actually available from the Stockton depot. Therefore I have to wait my back order.
3 of my paving slabs had chips on the upper side. 2 were usable but one had 2 corner chips which needs replacement, otherwuse I would have rated the materials as 5*.

Ordered 2 tonnes sharp sand and 4 bags of cement
2 bags cement was damaged,the driver said he'd reported it and would send them out,still waiting from a week ago.

Thanks for your review, sorry we couldn't deliver on the day you requested as you are in an area that we don't deliver to often. Our sales office did speak to you to advise of this and again to give you a date and the goods were delivered on the morning of that day.
