Received wool well packaged and labeled a few days after ordering. Very impressed given everything going on in the refurbishment. Always a pleasure.

I bought 2 ply lace weight to knit into gloves at a tight guage and this is perfect for it. As there's a little bit of lambswool in it it is very soft.

I ordered from Australia, and still had my items within two weeks. I was thoroughly impressed with this aspect of service. I have just started to make the Heritage Scarf, and although I do not normally use pure wool, as I have had issues with previous ones, this is wool is working up beautifully and I cannot wait to have a finished product. I will definitely order more from Jamieson & Smith.

I must say I had some trepidation ordering over such long distance with no postal tracking and I was worried that the belt and needles might not arrive unscathed but I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when everything arrived well packaged and in excellent shape. I love my yarn, and I've purchased a few skeins from J&S. My only issue is the cost of shipping to America. I realize that might be the business of overseas buying, but I'll admit, it has kept me from purchasing yarn directly. I'm heading to Shetland, and will have an opportunity to visit the shop, and I'm sure that experience is going to be fantastic!

I always love receiving my items from Jamieson & Smith. The package was for patterns and it was well packaged so as the patterns were not damaged. I wish I had looked more closely at what I ordered as I prefer written patterns and the Gibbie shawl pattern is charted. I will order the written one at a later time. My error no J & S.
